This warm and fuzzy hat was made from one of the most interesting yarns I have ever spun! I plied a black Merino Tensil with black Angora and a lavender metallic thread. I dyed it using Purple Jacquard dye and guess what? The black Merino remained the same, but the Angora picked up the blue and pink of the purple dye separately!
The black accent stripes come from Merino pliled with Angora and dyed black.
With the blue and pink overlying the black, even the lavendar thread looks pink!
This hat has a fluffy, shiny elegance that will keep you warm and look great, too!
Weight is 2.8 ounces. 7 1/2 inched from crown to bottom edge. Circumference is about 22 inches.
