Light and airy, this 100% Angora scarf in Natural Blue is hand crocheted from handspun yarn. The color is actually a light, silvery gray. The 'blue' designation comes from the color of the rabbit's nose which is a dark, bluish gray.
Once it is worn and handled, it will have a beautiful Angora halo that will fill in the gaps of the open weave.
It is 6 inches wide and 4 feet, 10 inches long with a 5 inch fringe on either end, giving it a total length of 5 feet, 8 inches.
It weighs 4.9 ounces and accounts for all of my Blue rabbit, Clarabelle's, wool that was plucked and spun in November. Her next coat will not be mature until February or March.
Although there is some variation in color because it is all natural, the darker blues in the picture reflect shadows and not true coloration in the scarf.
I may have enough Blue left from pervious skeins to make a hat to match....
