This kit is neatly packaged for gift giving, containing a pattern and enough handspun angora yarn to finish the hat. The pattern calls for knitting with circular needles, but is easy; requiring only the ability to Knit, for the hat without ribbing and Knit - Purl for the hat with ribbing on the bottom. Casting on and decreasing are the other two, major skills.
The yarn in this kit is 80 yards of bulky weight, handspun natural Black Angora weighing 3.2oz. This weight yarn will make a nice, substantial hat!
The two hats pictured are Fawn colored but show what the finished hat will look like in either plain (first one) or with ribbing (second one).
