Angora is wonderfuly soothing to work with and will give your project a special elegance! If you are looking for a particular color, or need something special, please email me as I am happy to take orders.
All of my angora yarn is handspun by me. I use no less than a three inch staple with a slight overtwist to avoid shedding or unraveling.
It is stored with herbs and spices such as lavender, pennyroyal, sage, thyme and lemon grass, giving it a pleasing aroma.
Most of my skeins are wound in 50 yard lengths. Two skeins, (100 yards) is enough to knit your very own Angora scarf or a pair of fingerless texting mitts. An 80 yard skein is enough to knit a hat.
Patterns for the hat or scarf or mitts are free with any purchase. To see what they make, go to the Angora Hats & Scarves page. The Natural Fawn Angora scarf and all of the hats were made with my patterns.
FREE shipping on all U.S. orders over $75.00! (US postal service, First Class)
Handspun Angora pricing is determined by weight, yardage and by whether it is natural, dyed or handpainted. Most skeins are in 50 yard lengths unless otherwise stated. Lace-weight angora is more costly per ounce due to the extra time it takes to spin.
